Saint Ambrose and Saint Nicholas of Bari, This image shows two oval-shaped panels, one of the St. Ambrose, and the other of St. Nicholas of Bari. St. Ambrose and St. Nicholas are both dressed as bishops, wearing mitres and holding crosiers. St. Ambrose also holds a bejeweled book, and St. Nicholas also holds three golden balls and a book., c. 1450
