Madonna in Glory / Assumption of the Virgin (detail), This image shows detail of a polyptych. Here, we see the central panel depicting the Virgin Mary in glory. She is seated and held by six angels in an aureola. She has her hands clasped in penitence. Also seen to the left is the panel with St. John the Baptist and to the right is the panel with St. Benedict., 1441
