Vanderbilt photo identifier: SC.MSS.088.DUTC.0588; Public Notes: From the Goudstikker collection.; This work was in the Collection of Jacques Goudstikker, a Jewish art dealer of Dutch paintings. The collection of around 1,300 paintings was looted by Nazis in WWII. Around 300 works from the collection were returned in 2006, with several hundred still missing. The heir if Goudstikker sold this painting to the Bredius Museum upon its return.
