The young man has his arm around the elderly woman and his hand caresses her chin, suggesting she drink more from the glass in her hand. Madonna and Child Enthroned with Angels, Depiction of the Virgin Mary and Christ child enthroned in a baldachin. An angel playing a musical instrument stands on either side of the Virgin and Child. The angel on the left holds a fruit in his right hand that he holds out for the Christ child and a viola in his left hand while the angel on the right plays a harp. All of these figures are sheltered beneath a type of portico with ornately decorated archivolts., c.1480
