The Virgin with the Flower, This painting depicts the Virgin Mary holding the infant Christ in her lap. The two are seated in an aureola. Mary wears a turban like headscarf and looks down at her son. In her right hand she holds a flower. The Christ child wears a starburst halo and reaches towards the flower in his mother's hand.
