Christ at the Mount of Olives, This is a depiction of the first episode in the events known as the Passion of Christ. Jesus Christ is shown praying in the Garden of Gethsemane at the base of the Mount of Olives. The apostles are seen sleeping in the middleground and in the background, Judas and the Sanhedrin soldiers are entering the garden. Judas is holding a pouch in his hand, which contains the thirty pieces of silver paid by the Jewish Council for the betrayal of Jesus Christ., 1440/50
