Lamentation over the Dead Christ, The dead Christ lies on a tomb, still bleeding from his open wounds while the Virgin Mary, Mary Magdalen, and St. John weep around him. Two other figures appear in the painting, possibly angels. A crown of thorns lies on the ground beside the tomb, which is engraved with scenes of an angel weeping on an altar and a detail of a sacrifice., c.1601-1602
