Isaiah, In this work, prophet Isaiah stands turned to the right of the composition as he points upward with his right hand. This work once made up the left panel of a triptych in the cathedral of Aix en Provence. The triptych has since been disassembled. The central panel hangs in its original location and the right panel is now at the Musees Royaux des Beaux Arts de Belgique in Brussels. The top portion of the left panel depicting a still life with books was removed by an art dealer in the 19th century., 1442-1445

Knight, Death and the Devil, This is an engraving of Psalm 23 and depicts a knight on his horse, riding past the figure of death, who holds an hour-glass, and Satan, who has the head of a horned goat. This piece is considered to be one of Durer's three Master Prints., 1513

The panel has been cut down at the top left and right corners. A drawing, possibly at the Louvre in Paris, may contain the original composition. The painting was once part of the Franz Koenigs Collection in Haarlem, The Netherlands.
The Martyrdom of Saint Livinus, This painting depicts the martyrdom of St. Livinus. In the bottom left corner, we see St. Livinus being attacked by robbers as they cut his tongue out and feed it to the dogs. Overhead, God punishes his attackers with a devastating thunderbolt., 1633-1635

The model for the lady spinning with a dog on her lap was Wiesken Matthys, the artist’s stepmother. This work celebrates the virtuous housewife.

The Three Crosses, This painting depicts three crucifixes. Christ hangs on the central cross with two thieves placed on either side of him; all three of the men hang vertically with their arms stretched above their heads. In the background, a small cross leans shakily., c.1624-1626
